I have just ordered the new 4115. I know there are not many out there right now but in comparsion to the 4100 what size blade, rear mount mower, and tiller do you think this tractor will be able to handle?

I have a 4100, and while I do not have a tiller, it is on my wish list!! What I have found it that this tractor is more powerful than deere give's it credit for.
rear blade: I have a 5' land pride. Good size. The tractor has more than enough POWER to pull it with all the dirt it can hold, but it does not have all the traction. With 6' you would be more tractionally challenged.
Mower: 5' 3point finishing mower. Have absolutely no problems mowing tall grass up a steep (approx 30 degrees) hill. I wouldn't hesitate using a 6' if I had the need for it.
Tiller: I would expect that a 5' model would be ok. I would like to get a 48" model, but those are a tough find locally (in the cheap brands). I will probably pick up one at Tractor Supply which means 60". Wider than I want, but I am sure the tractor can handle it.
Rotary cutter: Again, don't have one, but I would be very comfortable with up to 5'.
Have fun!!

I have a 4100 and it should be very similar to the 4115. I have a Monroe Tufline 5' rear blade. After looking for months, I believe this is the heaviest (368 lbs), best build blade you can get for a small tractor. It weighs almost 100 lbs more than most 5 foot blades I looked at. It will adjust any way you want. It is, however, an expensive blade. I paid over $500 with skid shoes.
Anyhow, I have found that the tractor has more than enough power to pull the blade through deep snow, or dirt. The problem with grading is the relatively light weight of the tractor, hence the tires may loose traction. ....

I have a 4100 and the following implements: 5' rear grader blade (works well moving heavy materials, but I suspect a 6' blade would also perform well-certainly for snow removal), 410 loader w/49" bucket (loader/tractor performs very well-get the big 60" bucket-it has lots more capacity), 54" boxscraper (enhanced with 175# of steel weights)-no problem pulling a full box of dirt with the scarifier teeth down (but you need to have the loader attached for the extra ballast to handle the box well). I have a 54" mm mower (the 60" would be no problem at all). Lastly for ground breaking, I have a 14" one bottom plow, a ripper tooth, and a 52" rototiller. My tractor performs well with all of my implements. But the ground engaging implements do require 4wd to be engaged and some counterweight on the front axle (loader) to be effective. Of all of the implements I have, I think that I could upsize everything except for the box blade and the moldboard plow. These sizes appear to be the right size for the tractor. I don't know how big of a mower deck or rototiller the tractor could handle. I just know that mine perform well with no bogging down at all ....

What's the scoop on the 4115? Deere's web site doesn't list it. Is it a replacement for the 4100 or a new model? Inquiring minds want to know!
I have the 60" bucket on my 410 loader. The 4100 handles it just fine, and it carries a lot more than the 48" bucket. ....

They all have the same sheet metal as my 4100 and the same rims and tires so I'm guessing they are the same basic machine with slightly different engines and features and all from the same plant. This web site seems to imply that the engine for all the 4000 series are Yanmar diesels. ....

The 4100 was replaced by the 4010,4110,4115
and are 18hp,20hp,24hp, and are Yanmar engines.
Otherwise like a 4100.
Look them up on www.midlawns.com.
I just ordered the 4115 because I like
the 4100 but wanted more horse power
not more tractor. ....
